Where does Dream Home Makeover's Shea McGee live and is Studio McGee nearby?

As they work, Shea and Syd get to know their clients and gain insight into how they can make their lives a little more beautiful. This season offers an intimate look into the McGees’ home life as they navigate parenthood and grow their businesses. Shea and Syd McGee are an entrepreneurial couple who transform people’s homes into the living spaces of their dreams. In Season 3 ofDream Home Makeover, the McGees welcome a new member into the family while still managing their interior design firm and furniture and decor business. An interior designer, with a self-professed, “healthy obsession with the holiday season”, helps homeowners create unique holiday home makeovers. Mr. Christmas, AKA Benjamin Bradley, together with his team of “elves” aides those in need to bring the Christmas Spirit into their otherwise spirit-lacking abodes.

It’s an inspiring show if you’re in search of new decor ideas and love watching the before and afters—and the homeowners’ reactions add a little drama to the proceedings. Stay HereOkay, we know this is a controversial last-place ranking, as a lot of people actually love this show. Stay Here is about makeovers, or how to turn a space into a profit-generator. It features well-known designer Genevieve Gorder from Trading Spaces, and it’s one part design show and one part business consultation. That being said, the home design element of Stay Here is actually quite weak.

Historic Home Renovation

Dorothy Breininger, one of the organizers on the show, spoke to Reality Blurred about the process behind helping the individuals clear out their homes. Over a decade on from its first episode, Hoarders remains a show like no other. If you like your home improvement shows with more than a dash of self-love, Queer Eye's got you covered. Interior Design MastersThis is a British reality TV show, so expect something a bit more refined than the American counterparts. Amateur interior designers compete against one another for a chance to win a commercial design contract. There is such a huge variety in personality and skillset, and it is nail-biting to watch them try to collaborate and finish their rooms by the deadline. It’s an elimination series, so at the end of each episode they send a designer home. The briefs are always interesting, and the hosts are encouraging but critical. Make sure the fridge is stocked before you start this series, as you’ll want to watch them all in a row.

Dream Home Makeover

If you like a little drama with your design, then you’ll like this show. It’s worth watching just to immerse yourself in a totally different world where the coveted prize is a luxury apartment in Kuala Lumpur. Because of that, The Apartment is fun to watch with friends or just to have on in the background while you do other stuff. It wouldn’t normally fall under a best home design show ranking, but it’s too fun to leave out. This series features couples looking to spice up their homes with rooms dedicated to doing the deed.

The new fixture brightens up a home and also brings extra style into the living space. Originally each episode starts with Drew showing potential home buyers a house with almost everything on their Wishlist only to reveal that the house is beyond their budget. However, Drew begins to explain that the home may exceed their budget, but later on, they can buy a house within their price range and significantly make desired renovations to it. Using kitchen jars, canisters, storage bins, folding stool, pantry bins, kitchen organizers, and their own utility products they create a functional space.

#12. Stay Here

However Meghan and Harry agreed to pay the cost of the renovations back to the taxpayer after they quit their senior roles. The huge home, which sits in the grounds of Windsor Castle, was gifted to them by the late Queen on their wedding day but was previously used as offices so needed a full refit. This is normal for newlyweds, and Kate and William spent a huge sum kitting out Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace to make it their dream family home. The couple got married in May 2018, suggesting relationships within the Firm, and their thoughts on their roles had began to change even before Meghan Markle officially joined. Chip and Jo’s complementary personalities always keep us coming back for more. Not to mention, they’ve done wonders for their beloved Waco, and that’s some real admirable hometown love.
